(10,22,2022) Execration refers to the denouncement of one as being utterly detestable, abhorrent or evil. In Russian president Putin’s case, it is all of the above. After Putin’s desolation of four Ukrainian regions in the south eastern part of the country, he declared those districts to have been annexed by Russia, a move which was seen as an illegal act of terrorism by the rest of the world. Now, Putin has decreed that those four Ukrainian regions will be ruled by Russian martial law. The Ukrainians have bravely pushed back on Putin’s troops in various parts of the country, so, Putin is becoming increasingly frustrated and angry. In desperation, Putin claims that the martial law, which he is imposing, is for the protection of the people of Ukraine. It seems that Putin is now running a protection racket, much like some of his closest criminal friends. However, with the amount of fertilizer that spews forth from Putin’s mouth, Russia should switch to it as their primary export. Meanwhile, Putin is doing everything in his power to disrupt oil exports to other countries, in an effort to weaken European and North American resolve. There is little doubt that Putin had a hand in Iran reducing their oil supply to the west. Although Iran has been involved in talks with the United States, regarding a revived nuclear deal, Russia has been supplying Iran with weapons for decades. And now, with Russia’s cache of weapons dwindling, Putin is looking to Iran for help. Apparently, the Russian drones that attacked and killed innocent Ukrainians last week, were supplied to Russia by Iran, making them co-conspirators in this war. Fortunately, American President Biden has opened up the United States oil reserve, stemming off any immediate panic. But, Putin’s greatest fears come from within and not from opposing nations. His strong arm tactics cannot silence his own people who are tired of his lies and deceit, and his insatiable appetite for power and expensive toys. His greed knows no bounds. And Putin’s sadistic tendencies are limitless! Not only are his police arresting anti-war protesters, but he’s also conscripting them directly into the military. Putin is dragging peaceful, innocent Russians into his war even though they do not wish to fight, because his trained troops have been so depleted. Many civilians have already left the country and many more are attempting to flee from Russia. But, the movement, of Russian dissidents against Putin, is growing. A large group of Russians, the ones with the real power, oppose Putin and are attempting to build an alternative Russia with more altruistic goals. These noble people wish to be a part of the western civilization. This must be one of the reasons that Putin has offered freedom to convicts who are willing to go to war for him. He is losing his grip, which would explain his most recent actions and strange new tactics. Just recently, Putin addressed his nation, beginning with suggesting new reforms such as the ones limiting the power of the next president. Why on earth would he do that? Evidence suggests that Putin will be stepping down from his role as president in the year 2024. He did, however, advise limiting future presidential terms to just two, as in the states. But, at the same time, Putin recommended potential new powers for the State Council, an advisory body to the Kremlin, led by Putin himself. (He also excels in arrogance and audacity.) It just looks like more ‘pulling of the strings’. Instead of being at the forefront, Putin plans to remain in the background, where he will still maintain control of the balance of power. Although Putin claims that he will no longer be president after 2024, he does not declare what position he will adopt at that time. Clearly, he has a choice of becoming the head of government, the speaker of the parliament or remain the chairman of his new strengthened security council. Ultimately, he has ‘stacked the deck’, so that he can continue to influence his political control. Meanwhile, back in the United States, Putin’s ‘good buddy’, the former American president, the P.O.T.A.S. (President of the American Supremacists) is another one who should be execrated. Still trying to keep alive the ‘big lie’, the P.O.T.A.S. has his minions, in the more conservative states, attempting to influence, once again, the recent midterm elections. And his conservative governors are playing along, by trying to control the ballot boxes while their goons harass and intimidate voters who would simply like to exercise their own constitutional rights. One would think that, with all of his pending court cases looming on the horizon, the P.O.T.A.S.’ time would be better spent preparing for them. But, perhaps, that is exactly what he is doing. After all, his most common strategy, besides lying constantly, is delaying the inevitable. By the P.O.T.A.S.’ way of thinking, if he delays long enough, the problem will simply go away, as though there were a time limit. In this case, the P.O.T.A.S. still has delusions of gaining back the power which he lost in the last election. Thusly, he could then make most of his problems disappear. The P.O.T.A.S.’ ‘partner in crime’, Steve Bannon, is currently applying the P.O.T.A.S.’ primary tactic of appealing the court’s decision. Bannon believes that he will not have to serve the four months in jail, to which the judge sentenced him. He smirked when the judge remarked that time served will be delayed until after a decision is made regarding the appeal by Bannon’s lawyer. In response, his lawyer gave Bannon a knowing look and made a remark indicating that their case for appeal was ‘bulletproof’. But, other lawmakers disagree, saying that Bannon will serve time for his blatant contempt of court. He has repeatedly shown disrespect for the lawmakers of America and their constitution. One would be hard pressed to determine whether it is Bannon or the P.O.T.A.S. who is the ultimate iconoclast!
