(11,24,2024) Optimism is a tendency to look on the more favourable side of events and/or the belief that good will ultimately triumph over evil. As for the situation, in the United States, we will have to hold that optimism for another four years. As the age old adage states, “We have lost the battle, but not the war!.” After all, we have already suffered through four bad years of American leadership by the P.O.T.A.S. (President of the American Supremacists). We can handle another four. Just keep the faith and don’t give up hope! And remember, there are stronger, more powerful forces at work, behind the scenes, on behalf of good people. Sadly, I had hoped that we were near the end of the ‘last days’. It would appear that we are just at the beginning. However, that is no reason to despair. The end is still in sight. It is just a little further away. And it will take longer to get there. I do apologize if I have mislead anyone into believing that, soon, everything will be alright. However, that said, all will be good, in the end! But, one cannot predict exactly when the outcome will arrive. It seems that we must endure more hardship, at the hands of people like the P.O.T.A.S. (President of the American Supremacists), who will be bringing to life those telltale signs of the apocalypse. I must point out, here, as I am sure I have done, more than once, that apocalypse refers to the end of things, as we know it, such as, life as we know it. Apocalypse does not mean the end of life, In fact, it refers to the ushering in of a new life, a better life, a more enlightened life. Apparently, even the Republican Party has awakened, just a little, but enough to garner a smidgeon of backbone which was required to make the P.O.T.A.S. accept the fact that he was not going to get his first choice for attorney general. Does one dare hope that this is a sign that the House of Representatives and the Senate can maintain some sort of control over the chaos that is about to break out for the next four years? Its not much on which to place all of our hopes, but I’ll take every bit that I can get! Remember, we have to keep a positive attitude if we are to get through this. As for the Republican Party being ready to actually govern on behalf of the people, instead of the P.O.TA.S., they are asymptomatic.
