(07,24,24) Rational means to exercise reason, or, be agreeable to. It also refers to being sane or lucid. At any rate, one does not see much of that going on around the American Capitol, these days, when it comes to dealing with the next election of their president. In fact, the exact opposite applies to most actions, by voters and leading members of their parties. With the failed attempted assassination of the former president, the P.O.T.A.S. (President of the American Supremacists), his subjects are already referring to him as ‘the second coming of the Savior’. The bullet, that missed, was basically handed to the P.O.T.A.S., on a silver platter. It could not have been a better gift, as it made him a living martyr. Now, he gets to claim that it was a miracle and God is on his side. The fact that God sent an angel to protect him is proof of that, according to him. Forget the fact that God does not take sides in elections. The so-called divine intervention is the major topic for discussion among Republicans, these days. Now, people are more likely to believe his lies. All the P.O.T.A.S. did, during his debate with president Joe Biden, was to tell one lie after another. Not once afterwards, was he challenged. All people talked about was how badly Joe had performed, even when Joe had attempted to call out the P.O.T.A.S. on all of his lies. Rather than have the president who has given his entire life to creating a better country for his fellow Americans, it would appear that half of America would sooner have a self devoted maniac, misogynist, liar, cheater, rapist, and thief (just to mention a few of the P.O.T.A.S.’ attributes) elected as their president. Although the P.O.T.A.S tried to steal the last election, and failed, thereby invoking a riot and attempted coup, which also failed, it seems millions of duped Americans are willing to let him loose on their country, again. It is insanity at its worst. If they succeed, the P.O.T.A.S. will get away with most of his crimes. It has already begun to happen, with the dismissal of Jack Smith, by one of the P.O.T.A.S.’ judges, as prosecutor in one of his cases. Judge Cannon claimed that Jack Smith was not qualified for the job. But, now, there is hope springing forth, from the Democratic Party, in the name of Kamala Harris! For weeks, members of his own party have been pressing Joe Biden to step down, particularly since the afore mentioned debate. What is evident, now, is that Joe’s cold was an early sign that he had contracted Covid. His health had been declining since then. Joe has come to realize that he is not as young as he used to be. As one gets older, it becomes more difficult to come back from an illness, let alone survive it. Biden needs to step back, off of the campaign trail, and take care of himself. The obvious choice to replace Joe, is Kamala Harris, since she has been effectively preparing for this role for the last four years. The Republicans know this and that is why they are shaking in their boots. They have always feared Vice President Harris. So now, they have already ramped up their attacks on Kamala Harris claiming that she has not deserved the right to be in that position. Somebody should have warned them to be careful what you wish for. After all, what did the Republicans expect to happen after claiming that Joe was too old and should step down? In fact, let’s take it one step further. If Joe Biden becomes too ill to perform his duties as president, doesn’t the vice president automatically become the president? If I’m not mistaken, it is the primary function of a V.P. to replace a president, should the president become incapacitated. If Kamala were to become president that would give her a few months to audition for the job, before the upcoming election. That way, everybody would get a chance to see exactly what they would be voting for. As people are already excited, I think that would be an ideal arrangement. The P.O.T.A.S., and all those sycophants who hover about him, would totally be thrown for a loop. Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill, and in the White House, there is much jubilation!
